About Koch Reinhard & Dietlinde
Reinhard Koch took over this Rechnitz winery from his father in 1990, and has worked alongside Dietlinde Koch ever since. The vineyard sits on green slate bedrock. They produce Blaufränkisch and Welschriesling. The Buschenschank opens seasonally with hearty breads and homemade delicacies. Vineyard picnics arrive with spreads, bacon, fresh vegetables, and wine. Guest rooms sit adjacent to Naturpark Geschriebenstein. Wine tastings by appointment pair homemade specialties with the wines. The winery holds South Burgenland's first Nachhaltig Austria sustainability seal.
