About

Kindzmarauli Corporation traces its history to 1533, when a royal wine cellar was established within the Kvareli fortress in Kakheti; the winery passed into private ownership in 1993 and today farms roughly 150 hectares (100 in the historic Kindzmarauli micro-zone), producing about 25 wine varieties and 10 brandies, best known for semi-sweet red Kindzmarauli. It blends traditional qvevri winemaking with modern European techniques and welcomes visitors for vineyard walks, factory tours, and tastings.
