About
Kereselidze Wine Cellar, run by owner Apolon in the village of Dzirageuli, Ambrolauri Municipality, Racha region, carries on a 200-year family winemaking tradition on 40-year-old vines in the Khvanchkara microzone on the slopes of the Rioni River. It is a natural wine producer working with rare red varieties — Rachuli (Tsulukidze's), Tetra, and Rachuli Mtsvane — that are uncommon locally due to demand for other red grapes. Wines are exported to the U.S. through Georgian Wine House.
