About Kaesler Wines
Kaesler Wines has worked the Barossa Valley since 1893, building a program around Shiraz, Grenache, and Mourvèdre across 37 hectares. The Home Block, 28 hectares surrounding the winery in Nuriootpa, anchors the estate. A further 9.21 hectares on the western side of the region rounds out the vineyard holdings. Reid Bosward leads the cellar work today. The Old Bastard Shiraz carries a Langton's Outstanding classification. The portfolio also includes Old Vine Shiraz, Avignon Grenache/Mourvèdre, and The Bogan Shiraz. The cellar door opens Thursday to Monday, 10am to 5pm. Vineyard tours can be arranged in advance. Cheese platters appear on weekends. Accommodation is available through Kaesler Cottages.
