About Johnson Estate Winery, LLC
Johnson Estate Winery has operated continuously since 1961, making it New York's oldest estate winery still in family hands. The vineyard sits along Lake Erie's shores, built on land that was a century-old fruit farm before the transition to wine. The program centers on estate-grown fruit, notably Chambourcin for the Ruby Dry Rosé, alongside offerings like Passionate Peach. The house earned two Best of Class Awards at the 2026 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition. Visitors can join guided vineyard tours or attend winemaker's dinners.
