About Irvine's Just Beyond Paradise
Irvine's Just Beyond Paradise sits on forty acres in the Kaw River Valley, a farm purchased in 2017 and transformed into a winery beginning April 2018. Ed Jr. and Scott Schlageck shape the program. Scott earned his winemaker's certificate from UC Davis. Ed Jr. studied molecular biology at the University of Kansas. The portfolio spans Chambourcin, Seyval Blanc, Norton, and Traminette alongside fruit wines, meads, and tomato wine. The work has earned medals at the Finger Lakes International Competition. Warm seasons bring wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas. An annual June Grandiversary celebration marks the calendar.
