Iro Markus tends 94,510 grapevines across 24 hectares in Gols, in the Neusiedlersee region. The program spans Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, St. Laurent, Cabernet Franc, Blaufränkisch, Merlot, and Chardonnay. Recent recognition includes the Zweigelt Ried Ungerberg 2024 winning SALON 2026, Austria's highest award for quality wine. Three regional Landessieger titles followed in Burgenland competition for the Zweigelt Ried Ungerberg 2024, Pinot Noir Ried Hochreit 2024, and Tohuwabhou 2025. The Cabernet Franc Heideboden earned silver at VINARIA TROPHY 2026 in the red wine category under €12. At Falstaff Rotwein Gala 2025, the Cabernet Franc Reserve 2023 scored 94 points for second place, while Meisterwerk 2023 received 95 points in the cuvée category.
