About Hunting Creek Vineyards Co.
Hunting Creek Vineyards began in April 2002 on five acres in Clover, Virginia, with Milt and Sandy McPherson planting 100 vines each of Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Viognier. The winemaking program features Milt and Sandy McPherson alongside Jeremy Ligon, drawing on estate fruit and grapes from Front Porch Vineyards and Pinehaven Vineyards. The portfolio spans ten wines across Merlot, Petit Verdot, Viognier, and Malbec. A tasting room opened in November 2009, where visitors find snacks, cheese, meat and cracker trays, and outdoor seating with cornhole and horseshoes.

Tasting Room Visits
Open Saturdays 11am-6pm and Sundays noon-5pm, with flexible scheduling available by appointment. Visitors can enjoy tastings in the barn with outdoor seating, cornhole, and horseshoes.
