Gordonsville, Virginia, since 1992. Vera Preddy and her son Eric Hopwood run nearly 40 acres under vine, growing more than 15 varietal grapes. Much of that fruit goes out the door, supplying a large selection of wineries across the state. On site, the tasting room pours alongside local crafts, baked goods, jams and jellies. Tastings run $15 for five wines. The vineyard also offers meads from Saga Meadery and cider from Son of a Bear Cidery. Dogs are welcome throughout.
