Homestead Winery

About

Barb and Gabe Parker founded Homestead in 1983 in Denison, in the Red River Valley of North Texas. The winery released its first vintage in 1989 and remains the oldest continually operating winery in the region, as well as the oldest family-owned and operated winery in Texas. Roy Mitchell is the winemaker, working with Tempranillo and wines that include Rose of Ivanhoe, Homestead Red, and Bois D'Arc. The tasting room welcomes visitors, and vineyard tours are available by reservation.
