About Hill Top Winery
Steve Michaliszyn shapes the program at Hill Top in Valley Center, drawing on French roots and California barrels to craft Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, Syrah, Tempranillo, Zinfandel, Chardonnay, Viognier, Pinot Gris, and Grenache. The Ranch House Red Signature blend anchors the portfolio alongside Grenache Rosé and Tempranillo Rosé. Tastings require a reservation. On-site, Restaurant Pablo Ranea opens Thursday through Saturday from 11 AM to 8 PM, with Sunday brunch at 10 AM. Head chef Dean Boskovich trained under Pablo Ranea of Mendoza, Argentina. Live music, outdoor seating, and a picnic area frame the experience. Dogs welcome. The house hosts weddings, private events, and special programming from movie nights to comedy and pop-ups. Two-tier wine club available.
