Hiedler

Langenlois, Kamptal. Hiedler works across white and red varietals, but the program centers on Grüner Veltliner. The portfolio includes single-vineyard expressions: Löss, Langenloiser Tonmineral, Ried Thal, Ried Kittmannsberg, Ried Schenkenbichl, and Gipfelwein, alongside Riesling, Chardonnay, Weißburgunder, Muskat-Ottonel, Pinot Noir, and Rosé. Sweet wines, including Beerenauslese and Eiswein, complete the range. The work is 100% artisanal. Stephan Reinhardt of Robert Parker's Wine Advocate described the house as representing a unique style that combines elegance with baroque and finishes linear and lean like a Gothic cathedral. Terry Theise noted the wines are riddled and jammed with soul and personality, with no other wines like them.
