Hentley Farm

About

Bordering the Adelaide Hills, this vineyard is the coolest in the Barossa, renowned for its fruit's purity and naturally high acidity. Established by Robin Day, the vineyard was originally planted with several experimental varietals, which have since thrived in this cooler climate, showcasing their exceptional quality and character. Recognised as one of Australia’s most awarded vineyards for over 15 years, Hentley Farm stands out for its remarkable diversity of its vineyard blocks. With a profound sense of place, it consistently produces wines of exceptional quality that reflect the unique characteristics of the site. The winemaking team is dedicated to precision, carefully evaluating each viticultural block and sub-row at harvest to ensure peak ripeness, with certain vineyards being picked multiple times throughout the season.
