About Heir Apparent Winery
Heir Apparent Winery has been in Healdsburg since 1912, drawing fruit from vineyard sites across Northern California including Sonoma County, Alexander Valley, Geyserville, Clarksburg, and Bennett Valley. Winemaker Andy Katz and viticulturist Phil Freese produce a portfolio of Bordeaux-style wines. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec form the core. The Soil Series, Site Series, and Collage are notable wines. The tasting room requires reservations and offers food and outdoor seating. Vineyard tours are not offered.
