Heideboden - Martin Kaintz

About

Josef Kaintz converted Heideboden to organic farming in 1990, the year the winery was founded. Over three decades later, the operation remains certified organic, among the earliest members of BIO AUSTRIA. Josef and Martin Kaintz lead the program today, working across Zweigelt, Roesler, Welschriesling, and Chardonnay. The portfolio includes Bio-Roesler and Bio-Welschriesling, each gold medal awarded, and Bio-Messwein, which has earned gold twice. In Frauenkirchen, on the Neusiedlersee, tastings and vineyard tours are available by telephone reservation. A 24-hour wine vending machine offers direct access to the wines.
