About Hamlet Vineyards
Hamlet Vineyards sits on 300 acres in Bassett, Virginia, founded in 2010 by Butch and Virginia. Michael Shaps is the winemaker. The tasting room opens Sundays from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, year-round except Christmas and New Year's. Reservations can be made 14 days in advance, with deposits required for parties over 11 guests. The portfolio includes wine flights, pours by the glass and bottle, and Sangria by the liter and half liter. These are paired with Breads & Spreads from Hamlet Kitchen and a rotating Sunday Special. Live music, winemaker dinners, and special events are hosted.
