Chateau Morrisette was founded in 1978 in Floyd, Virginia, making it the oldest winery in the state. David Morrisette leads the program across approximately 1,000 acres the family acquired over two decades. The portfolio spans full-bodied reds like Cabernet Sauvignon and Archival XII, the off-dry Black Dog, and sweet wines including Sweet Mountain Laurel and Blackberry. A restaurant anchors the property. The Black Dog Concert series brings music to the grounds.
