About Guyomar Wine Cellars
Guyomar Wine Cellars was founded in 1998 in Paso Robles. The estate vineyard, St. Peter of Alcantara, sits in the Willow Creek District. Jacob Reyes, Steve Glossner, and Richard Sauret oversee the program, which includes 16 acres of head-trained, own-rooted Zinfandel planted in 1998, along with Rockpile Clone Petite Sirah added in 2005, Grenache and Syrah planted in 2006, and Mourvedre added in 2011. The vineyard has never required irrigation. The first wines, from the 2010 vintage, released at the end of 2013.
