Gusenbauer

About

Wine production at Gusenbauer traces to 1724, though the family has stewarded the property since 1897. Three hectares of vineyard sit alongside two hectares of fruit orchards in Krems an der Donau, in the Kremstal. The cellar works in both wooden barrels and steel tanks. The program spans Grüner Veltliner, Weißburgunder, Rote Veltliner, Rheinriesling, Neuburger, Blauburger, and Blauer Portugieser, with Grüner Veltliner Agnes Kremser among the notable releases. Wine and fruit spirit tastings are offered at the gasthaus.
