About Geyerhof
Geyerhof's roots run to 1072 in Oberfucha, Kremstal. Maria Maier and Josef Maier tend 23 hectares of vineyard and 27 hectares of arable land, where over 10% is devoted to hedgerows and nature conservation. The shift to organic farming came in 1988. Every grape is hand harvested. The cellar, nearly 900 years old, holds a library of the house's best wines dating back to 1947. The program centers on Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, with releases including Grüner Veltliner Hofstudien, Donauriesling Hofstudien, StockWerk, Ried Hoher Rain, and Grüner Veltliner Reserve.
