About Guillaume and Mathieu PLOU
Twenty-three generations of the Plou family have tended vineyards in Chargé, a lineage stretching back to 1508. The estate now spans 102 hectares across Montlouis-sur-Loire. Guillaume and Mathieu work from troglodyte caves where the program ages and produces wines including VIA OCTA Rosé, VIA OCTA Blanc, Le Paradis, and Les Perruches. Visitors can walk the vineyards in roughly 45 minutes or descend into the caves for a 20-minute guided visit.
