Griffins Crossing Winery

Griffins Crossing sits in Los Gatos, drawing from Santa Cruz Mountains vineyards both estate and sourced. The portfolio spans Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. Estate fruit for Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet comes from Griffin Hill Vineyards. Zinfandel and Merlot arrive from small, hand-tended sites across the region. The cellar ages all wines in French oak, working with vine clones brought directly from France. The vineyard uses dry farming practices. Winemaking here does not use commercial yeast, enzymes, fining agents, filtering, or other ingredients. The 2019 Estate Chardonnay rested 18 months in neutral oak. The 2018 Estate Pinot Noir sits at 13.0% alcohol. Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from Ormsby Trail vineyard, planted at 2600 feet, carries 13.7% alcohol.
