About Gran Clos del Priorat, SLU
Thirty-two hectares across Bellmunt del Priorat, where vines older than a century anchor the work. Cartus draws exclusively from hundred-year-old plantings in Quisens and Carners. Gran Clos, the signature cuvee, selects from Aubages, Quisens and Carners. Finca El Puig offers medium body from its namesake vineyard. Les Mines and Solluna, both lighter-bodied, pull from Font de La Pallissa and Mas Mariano respectively. 365 Rose, cold-fermented, is a single-vineyard rosé. Beyond wine, the estate cultivates almonds and olives, releasing a tiny quantity of extraordinary olive oil each year. A decade-long blind tasting by top critics, sommeliers and international judges ranked the house number one in Priorat.
