About Golden Road Vineyards
Golden Road Vineyards sits in the Yadkin Valley, where five acres were planted in 2011. Chad and Crista Guebert acquired the property in summer 2017, opening the tasting room on Black Friday 2020. The program spans Merlot, Petit Manseng, Petit Verdot, Tannat, and Traminette, alongside the 2023 Slàinte Mhath, a Chardonnay aged in Scotch barrel, and Mountain Park Sunset, a rosé of Montepulciano. The cellar also produces Sailor's Delight, a Brut rosé, and Eclipse, a Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot blend. The tasting room welcomes dogs and offers outdoor seating. Members of the Wine Lovers Club receive four releases annually. In 2024, the house launched Wine Way Cottages, two short-term rentals on the property.
