Baubie Fox left seventeen years in finance to return to farming in Acampo, where she now operates the only independent female-owned vineyard in the Lodi Appellation. Her program centers on custom-farmed Old Vine Zinfandel, head-trained, dry-farmed, and hand-manicured. Harvest and pruning happen by hand. The work avoids chemical herbicides, instead employing hybrid watering that pairs dry farming with minimal drip-line hydration. The portfolio includes Old Vine Zinfandel and Petite Sirah, with notable releases like Moist, pro-voc-a-tive, and cli-MAX. There is no tasting room. Virtual tastings with Fox are offered at $125 per person. Wine club members receive four shipments yearly in January, April, September, and November, with a 20% discount on non-library selections.
