Ghiomo sits in Guarene, between Langa and Roero, two kilometers from Alba. The name comes from a tool for machining wooden barrels. Established in the early nineteenth century, the work shifted in 1999 toward quality and distinct expression. Giuseppino Anfossi leads the program across vineyards planted in soils rich with gray marl, clay, and sand. Strictly traditional methods govern the vineyard. The portfolio centers on Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Arneis, expressed through wines including Inprimis, Fussot, Sansteu, Sansteu Primo, Lavai, Vigna Granda, Ruit, and Hora.
