About CASCINA RABAGLIO di Rigo Salatin s.s.a.
Cascina Rabaglio began in 2005 with Filippo Rigo, Daniela Rigo, and Andrea Salatin. The vineyards are located in Alba, Treiso, and Neive. Nebbiolo appears as a single-vineyard Barbaresco from the Gaia Principe cru in Neive, harvested mid-October and aged in French oak then large Slavonian oak with zero toasting. From Santa Rosalia in Alba comes Nebbiolo d'Alba, picked early October, alongside Barbera d'Alba harvested late September and aged in wood for at least six months in horizontal bottles. Langhe Arneis, also from Santa Rosalia, arrives in early September. The cellar also produces Dolcetto and Riesling. Tonda Gentile delle Langhe hazelnuts grow in areas not suited to viticulture.
