About Fruitshine Wine
Fruitshine Wine opened in Monticello in 1999 with wine-making techniques passed down from a Spanish great-grandmother and grandmother. The program centers on fruit-forward wines, each jar built from 1.5 pounds of tree-ripened fruit. The Blueberry Wine draws on 2 pounds of handpicked Indiana berries. Both contain no preservatives or sulfites. The tasting room occupies a screen porch shadowed by a 1910 oak barn, and minors are welcome. Open May through October, Friday and Sunday from 12 PM to 6 PM, Saturday until 7 PM.
