Carpenter Creek Cellars

About

Carpenter Creek Cellars opened to the public in March 2013 in Remington, Indiana, the original winery in Jasper County. The program grows from roots planted in Byron's Vineyard in 2002, with 1.1 acres of Traminette added in 2012. The tasting room and production area occupy a barn built in 1919 and renovated in 2011. The portfolio includes Traminette and Gewurztraminer alongside Gunny Red, Gunny White, Sunset Rosé, Sunset Red, and Riesling. Five tastings cost five dollars. Vineyard tours are available, and the grounds welcome dogs and picnics.
