About

Dan Sogg and Jonathan Edelman make small production Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux varietals in Walla Walla. Sogg spent nine years as an editor at Wine Spectator, one year in production at a Bordeaux chateau, and sixteen years as US representative of Tonnellerie Cavin. Edelman graduated from culinary school in Paris, worked twelve harvests at Remoissenet Père et Fils in Burgundy, and spent time in Michelin-starred French restaurants before partnering in a Sonoma Cabernet label. The program sources grapes from seven vineyards across Washington. Bacchus and Gamache in White Bluffs AVA, Conner Lee in Whaluke Slope AVA, Elephant Mountain in Rattlesnake Hills AVA, Evergreen in Ancient Lakes AVA, Red Willow in Yakima Valley AVA, and Southwind in Walla Walla Valley AVA. No tasting room. Since 2025, Foolhardy sponsors BIG Recyclers, a Walla Walla community recycling nonprofit.
