Madera's Port house, now in its ninth decade, has built a reputation around fortified wine. Peter Ficklin, a third-generation partner trained in enology at UC Davis, leads the cellar with four decades of award-winning work behind him. The portfolio spans Old Vine Tinta, Ruby, Tawny, Colheita Tawny, Vintage, Specialty, and Flavored Ports. The Old Vine Tinta has earned a perfect score. Walk in without reservation.
