About Fautor

Fautor was founded in 1990 in Tigheci, a microzone within Valul lui Traian in South Moldova. More than 350 hectares of vineyards feed a portfolio organized across eight series: Illustro, Limited Edition, Orange, Late Harvest & Ice Wine, Summer Edition, Aurore, Vie de Vis, and 310* Altitude. The Negre 2017, a blend of Feteasca Neagra and Rara Neagra, won best red wine at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2022. Illustro Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot took Grand Gold and Best of Show Moldova red at Mundus Vini summer tasting 2023. Barbaro earned Grand Gold and Champion at Galicja Vitis Poland 2022 with 94 points. Late Harvest Traminer received Wine Of The Year mention at London Wine Competition 2023. Fautor was the most awarded Moldovan winery in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. A tasting room is available by advance reservation.
