Fassold is a fourth-generation family business in Straden, in the Steirisches Vulkanland of southeast Austria. The region receives almost 300 sunny days per year, and the vineyards are located predominantly on south-facing slopes. Werner Fassold leads the program, which centers on Gelber Muskateller. The 2018 vintage won the Steirische Weintrophy in 2019. A tasting room is available for visitors.
