About
Eight hectares of vineyard on volcanic soils in Tieschen, where basalt runs through the earth and into the wines, lending them strength and fullness. The Illyrian and Pannonian climates influence the vineyard. Two generations of the family run the operation. Hand-selected grapes become Welschriesling and Sauvignon Blanc under the Vulkanland Steiermark DAC designation, alongside Chardonnay and a Zweigelt rosé. The Buschenschank serves as the cellar's public face.
