About
Victor and Beth Edwards planted their first vineyard in Ramona in 1990, then established Edwards Vineyard & Cellars in 2004. The 3.5-acre estate produces 350 to 500 cases annually, working with Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cinsaut, Counoise, and Viognier. A 2020 expansion brought Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cinsaut, Counoise and Viognier into the program. The cellar also makes Rosé, a GSM blend, and Port-style dessert wines. Vines are tended without herbicides, following sustainable practices. The tasting patio opened in March 2011.
