About Donato d’Angelo
Donato d'Angelo sits in Basilicata, where Donato D'Angelo, Emiliana Alessandra, and Erminia Alessandra shape the program. Emiliana and Erminia represent the fourth generation of the family. The cellar moves across Syrah, Fiano, Aglianico, and Cabernet Sauvignon. EDE Rosato draws from Syrah. EDE Bianco, made from Fiano grown on volcanic soil, sits alongside Calice and Donato D'Angelo, both Aglianico del Vulture DOC. Balconara blends Cabernet Sauvignon with native varietals as an IGT Basilicata Rosso. The house also produces extra virgin olive oil from Ogliarola del Vulture olives. Vineyard tours and a tasting room are available.
