About Domaine Specht

Mittelwihr, Alsace. Domaine Specht has worked this corner of Haut-Rhin since 1955, now steered by Benjamin and Thibault, the third generation. Over 80% of the harvest moves by hand through the cellar. The program spans Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir, and Edelzwicker, with Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Mandelberg and Vendanges Tardives anchoring the portfolio. Crémant d'Alsace Blanc rounds it out. In 2020, the house began converting to organic farming. The 2023 vintage marks the first certified organic release. HVE certified. The work extends to wine tourism, offering traditional tours and tastings.
