Domaine Schaller Eugène has operated in Mittelwihr since 1642. Laurent Schaller, the seventh generation, has managed the winery since 1992, alongside Jean Schaller. Six hectares spread across 78 parcels between Bennwihr and Ribeauvillé form the vineyard. Fruit is hand-harvested and ages on fermentary lees for four months, then bottled with natural cork. The wines are intended for aging five years or more. HVE level 3 certified. Bottled on-site and not sold in large retail distribution. Visits by appointment.
