About Domaine de L'Ocre Rouge
Domaine de L'Ocre Rouge was founded in 1999 in Dions, in Occitanie. Aymeric Beaufort and Marceline Beaufort shape the program across approximately 10 hectares, planted at 4000 vines per hectare and farmed to a yield of 30 hectoliters per hectare. The cave, built in 2002, houses the cellar work. Indigenous yeast fermentation and aging in previously-used wooden barrels define the house across a portfolio of Grenache, Carignan, Syrah, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay. The program also includes sparkling wine, white and rosé, made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, aged on lees and disgorged. The caveau opens Monday to Saturday.
