About Domaine Bores
Reichsfeld, Alsace. Vines have climbed these slopes since the 18th century, naturally grassed and rising to 400 meters. Marie-Claire, Pierre, and Marion Borès tend the work across two named terroirs, Sohlenberg and Schieferberg, certified HVE. The portfolio spans Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Sylvaner, and Pinot Blanc, with notable releases including Mosaïque, the Gewurztraminer 2023, Crémant BB Blanc de Blancs Brut, Crémant Riesling Brut, Sylvaner Terroir de Schiste 2022, Côté jardin 2023, Grains de folie 2023, and Libres et toqué·e·s ! 2022. That last wine arrives with zero maceration, no added sulfites, and no filtration. The house earned three stars and Coup de ♥ in the Hachette Guide 2020, and a Gold Medal for Best Riesling in the World. A family domain since 1700.
