DesJarlais Farms

About

DesJarlais Farms began in 2011 with fruit wine in Denver, moving to Sturgis on the family farm in South Dakota. The program expanded to both locations in 2012, sourcing grapes from Red Valley Vineyard in Piedmont, managed by the Booze family. The portfolio spans Brianna, Frontenac Blanc, St Croix, Petite Pearl, and Itasca. Small oak barrels are used on red wines. Light filtration preserves natural flavors. Wine bottles feature a Stone Johnny monument image on the back. The winery and tasting room are closed for the 2025 season, reopening June 2026.
