About Clos de Tart

Clos de Tart is one of five Grand Crus Monopoles in Burgundy and the largest at 7.53 hectares, located in Morey-Saint-Denis in Côte d'Or. The vineyard has never been subdivided in its 900-year history and has had only four owners since 1141, making it a rare example of an intact monopole in Burgundy. It represents one of only 33 Grand Cru terroirs in the region, with its production comprising just 1% of total Burgundy output.
