About Château Vignelaure
Fifty-five hectares in Provence, thirty-five kilometers northeast of Aix-en-Provence. Mette and Bengt Sundstrøm oversee a program anchored in Cabernet Sauvignon, a pioneering varietal for the region, alongside rosé and white wines. The work produces reds with elegance, complexity, and long aging potential. The vineyard converted to organic agriculture. The cellar, carved into rock, holds inox fermentation vats, barrel aging rooms, and bottle caves. An underground gallery houses a contemporary art collection. Free tasting at the caveau. Cave visits with tasting cost €10 per person, lasting approximately forty-five minutes. The tasting room staff speak French, English, Spanish, and Swedish.
