About Château la Lagune
Château la Lagune has stood in Ludon-Médoc since 1587, classified as a 3e grand cru in 1855. The Frey Family acquired the estate in the early 2000s, and Caroline Frey has directed the program since 2004. The house produces Château La Lagune and Moulin du Château La Lagune. Terroir here centers on a gravelly hilltop known as the Médoc Island Model, surrounded by a 34-hectare marsh that functions as a biodiversity refuge. In 2021, the château earned biodynamic certification under the Biodyvin label.
