About Château Guiraud

Château Guiraud was founded in 1766 and encompasses 128 hectares in Sauternes. Named a 1er Grand Cru Classé in 1855, the estate pioneered biodiversity practices starting in 1996 and received organic certification in 2011. Sandrine Garbay directs the program today. The flagship Château Guiraud blends 65% Sémillon with 35% Sauvignon Blanc, aged 18 months in new French oak. The portfolio extends to Petit Guiraud and G de Guiraud. Since 2022, the work sits within the Terres de Natures label. Two restaurants, Le Cercle Guiraud and La Chapelle de Guiraud, anchor the estate's presence.
