Château de Roquefort

About Château de Roquefort

Lugasson, Nouvelle-Aquitaine. A 13th-century château fort anchors more than 100 hectares, where Frédéric Bellanger has managed the property since 1995, now into a second generation of family stewardship. The cellar works Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Sémillon into a portfolio that spans Roquefortissime, the flagship cuvée, alongside Château Roquefort Rouge, Bordeaux Blanc, Bordeaux Rosé, and Entre-Deux-Mers. A Neolithic covered alley runs through the grounds. The 18th-century colombier and chartreuse remain. Vineyard tours and tastings by reservation, with food available on the property. Haute Valeur Environnementale certified since 2017.
