About Christian Moueix

Christian Moueix spans two continents and two distinct expressions of terroir. Rick Kinzbrunner and Nathan Kinzbrunner shape the program across Château Latour à Pomerol in Libourne, an 8-hectare holding of pure Merlot acquired by Madame Loubat in 1917, and Giaconda Estate Vineyard in Beechworth, north of Melbourne, where 2.8 hectares yield 100% Chardonnay. The house also produces Pinot Noir and Shiraz. Rick Kinzbrunner's first vineyard ownership began in 1982. Nathan joined in 2007. At Giaconda, Chardonnay ages for more than 18 months in French oak, 30% new. Établissements Jean-Pierre Moueix managed the Pomerol property from 1962 until acquiring it outright in 2024.
