About Chris Hamilton Cellars
Born from a 2009 love affair with Napa, this winery crafts balanced Sauvignon Blancs, Merlots, and Cabernet Sauvignons from organic, dry-farmed vineyards in Yountville and Oakville that punch way above their price point. No tasting room, but you can snag bottles at select local retailers or hit up their mailing list for the good stuff.
Tasting Experiences
Signature Tasting
A relaxed, hosted introduction to Hamilton Family Wines enjoyed in the olive grove or cozy tasting room, featuring a guided tasting of current releases. Approximately 60 minutes. Walk-ins welcome daily.
Rhône Heritage Tasting
A more in-depth seated tasting centered on Rhône-inspired wines and small-production Grenache, featuring a seasonal cheese and accompaniment board prepared in-house. Approximately 75 minutes. Available by reservation with 48-hour notice.
Electric Trike Tour
Explore Kenwood by electric trike with Pushpak Wine Country Tours, beginning and ending at Hamilton Family Wines, with tasting available after the ride.
Golden Hour
Join Thursday through Sunday from 3:30–5:00 pm for a relaxed late-afternoon pace with select glasses starting at $10.
Oyster Day in the Olive Grove
A spring afternoon in the olive grove featuring oysters from Hog Island Oyster Co., bright wines, and live music. Each ticket includes a welcome glass of wine and a half dozen oysters.
