Chatom Vineyards is nestled in the Esmeralda Valley of the Sierra Foothills in Calaveras County, boasting 13 award-winning varietals planted on 65 acres. Originally founded in 1981 by Gay Callan, the vineyard operated a tasting room facility near Murphys for 25 years before transitioning to grape sales in 2015. The winery is now focused on supplying premium, estate-grown grapes to select California wineries.
