About Chateau Purcari
Founded in 1827, Château Purcari anchors a wine group reborn in 2003 that now operates across Eastern Europe. The portfolio spans seven production platforms in Romania, Moldova, and Bulgaria, managing over 1,450 hectares of vineyards. The house owns Château Purcari, Crama Ceptura, Bostavan, Domeniile Cuza, Angel's Estate, and Bardar distillery. As Moldova's largest exporter of bottled wines, the group became the first wine enterprise from Eastern Europe to list on the Bucharest Stock Exchange in 2018. The work has earned over 130 Decanter awards since 2015, with Château Purcari itself recognized as the most-awarded winery in the world in 2021.
